Cupping and the usage of mild suction with cupping on the body has been used in many traditions worldwide.

The Lymphatic system is responsible for removing waste from the body, as well as fighting off infections and distributing nutrients from the digestive tract into the bloodstream. Lymphatic cupping is a fantastic compliment to Colon Hydrotherapy since it supports waste removal from within the layers of soft tissue as well as along the routes of lymphatic vessel drainage.

The cups are moved over the skin by gliding and gently pulling up on the cup to facilitate soft tissue release, unlike massage which compresses inward into the tissues. The suction reaches deep into the soft tissue, producing a “separation” in the tissue layers, enabling water absorption and renewed blood flow as well as renewed flow to the lymphatic system. The suction has a sedating effect on the nervous system, while pulling congestion from the body tissues, so that the skin and lymphatic system can easily eliminate them. The vacuuming effect is gentle yet it lifts and releases rigid soft tissue as well as scars, adhesions and restrictions. Cupping clears debris and creates drainage. When followed with Colon Hydrotherapy we open drainage out of the body to further facilitate the release of waste material naturally.

Lymphatic Cupping is an Add-On service.

  • It is advisable to avoid eating and drinking altogether 2 to 3 hours prior to your session. In the days leading up to your session (and always!) drink plenty of water, sessions can run more smoothly when you're well hydrated. Avoiding heavy foods leading up to your session is advisable - such as sugar, alcohol, red meat, dairy, fried foods and heavy carbs. Keep in mind that your body responds best to your session when it is relaxed. As your life allows, please give yourself time before your session for deep breathing, laughing, movement, and a positive, supportive environment to help facilitate a relaxed state of mind.

There is no special clothing needed but we suggest that you wear comfortable clothing. Before your session, the practitioner will briefly exit the room allowing you have a moment alone to remove garments below the waist and put on a privacy robe and a drape, so clothing should be comfortable enough to remove in this way, clothing from the waist up remains on.

  • If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify Good Move at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment to avoid being charged the FULL SERVICE FEE. Any appointments rescheduled within the 24-hour timeframe will incur a change fee of $50.
