Cryotherapy

Whole Body Cryotherapy:

In just 3 chilling but invigorating minutes of sub-zero temperatures, Cryotherapy stimulates your body to redirect your blood from your limbs to your vital organs to maintain core body temperature. When you step out of the Cryotherapy Chamber your cleansed and oxygenated blood rushes back to your limbs, flooding your tissues with new nutrients, relieving your pain and discomfort.

Compression Cryotherapy

Compression Cryotherapy using NormaTec sleeves for either arms legs or torso will help aid in the circulation of blood and will allow your body to eliminate the metabolic waste, help reduce muscle fatigue, soreness, and inflammation often associated with musical soreness. Cryotherapy also targets specific areas of the body that are inflamed and/or in chronic pain. It is also an excellent tool for treating migraines, headaches, sprains, and recent acute injuries. Cryotherapy combats this response by constricting the blood vessels, thus decreasing inflammation.

  • It is advisable to avoid eating and drinking altogether 2 to 3 hours prior to your session. In the days leading up to your session (and always!) drink plenty of water, sessions can run more smoothly when you're well hydrated. Avoiding heavy foods leading up to your session is advisable - such as sugar, alcohol, red meat, dairy, fried foods and heavy carbs. Keep in mind that your body responds best to your session when it is relaxed. As your life allows, please give yourself time before your session for deep breathing, laughing, movement, and a positive, supportive environment to help facilitate a relaxed state of mind.

Before your session, the practitioner will briefly exit the room allowing you have a moment alone to remove garments below the waist and put on a privacy robe and a drape, so clothing should be comfortable enough to remove in this way, clothing from the waist up remains on.
